Middle School Mindfulness

Mindfulness, for the purpose of this unit, will be defined as a nonjudgmental, non-elaborative awareness of the present moment; an awareness that allows for acknowledgment and acceptance of feelings, thoughts, and sensations as they arise.

Elementary School Starting Strong

This unit is designed to help students start socially and academically strong, and to equip educators with the resources to build a positive school culture.

Middle School Physical Activity

This secondary unit is designed to empower students with the information they need to make healthy choices to prepare for, adopt, and eventually maintain an active lifestyle. The positive promotion of physical activity among children and youth has become a universal challenge.

Elementary School Time Management and Organization

Students will practice preparing in and out of school materials, explore time management strategies, deconstruct large tasks into smaller ones, discover obstacles to their productivity, and learn to prioritize tasks.

High School Self Awareness & Self-Regulation

By reflecting on personal experiences, values, and thought processes, students will develop abilities to analyze, synthesize, critically think, and achieve a positive sense of self. Such competencies are crucial for post-secondary successes.

High School Time Management and Organization

In this unit, students will learn the importance of time management in lesson 1. In lesson 2 they will look at how they use their time. Lesson 3 will introduce students to using a daily planner. Lesson 4 and lesson 5 will cover organization.
